Generally 10 working days before the campaign launch, 5 working days before for digital platforms.
There are a lot of signs to be pasted at once, which is impossible to solve in 1 day, so every poster company works according to the following market standard:
The pasting period lasts from the 1st to the 4th at the beginning of each month, and from the 16th to the 19th in the case of a mid-winter campaign.
We calculate a repair amount for each poster campaign.
This is + 20% for billboards and + 15% for citylights.
This is necessary because it is possible for the displayed poster to be damaged, and this way media owners can repair it faster, without having to wait for the printing house to re-produce and deliver 1 poster.
We receive production prices from printers in batches. The price is completely different when you have to produce a lot of one type of material at once (e.g. 100 pieces) than when you have to produce a smaller number of several types, even if the total amount is the same (e.g. 5 × 20 pieces).
It may happen that completely different technology or machines have to be used, and the working time also increases proportionally with the many smaller operations.
Poster companies offer a 1-month warranty on paper-based posters, so they ask for a new poster every month. If they don’t receive a new poster and monitoring shows damage, they may only be able to repair the defect at an additional cost.
Unfortunately, in this case, extra costs can be expected, and the placement may also be delayed compared to the normal placement time.
Unfortunately, we do not receive a list of exclusively downtown, premium locations from the media owners, including one of the largest (who owns most of the citylights with stops in Budapest).
In a citylight campaign, the proportion of so-called “high” category surfaces can be approximately 20%. That is, it is not possible for a client to appear only on lines 4/6, on 20 surfaces. The “high” categories are typically: lines 4/6, plazas, busier metro stops, the busiest bus/tram stops (e.g. Blaha Lujza Square, Ferenciek Square, Alkotás Street, Fővám Square, Jászai Mari Square, Újbuda Square, etc.).
Of course, we strive to make this as little noticeable as possible, because we select the good, busiest ones from the lower-category platforms for the campaign, but it must be taken into account that there will not necessarily be a presence only in the specified districts.
A register kept by the NMHH, in which the legally erected advertising media sold by the owner of the advertising media are registered at the request of the owner. The aim of the regulation is to eliminate advertising media that destroy the image of the settlement. In addition, according to the law, advertising media and advertisements visible from public areas can only be placed in a place and in a size and appearance that does not harm the architectural image of the settlement or part of the settlement. After July 1, 2024, only those devices that are registered in the advertising cadastre can be used for advertising.
Yes, advertising publishers are constantly updating the list of currently usable platforms, and with the introduction of the advertising registry, their legality is no longer a question.
The vehicles operate in a so-called forda, which means that they can take a different route than the one specified, depending on the traffic situation, but their primary route is the one specified in the offer. Vehicles with advertising spend at least 70% of the days in traffic.
With mobile devices, we can cover most locations requested by clients, but it is important to obtain any necessary permits in advance.
